Went in here about 15 minutes ago and stood at the counter for 10 minutes. There's no menus to be able to make a choice.
Then a couple stood behind me and a guy came out and looked straight passed me and asked them if they had ordered and they said they had. He walked off , came back and told them 4 minutes. Then he again ignored me and went off and didn't come back.
A delivery driver came in, another member of staff came out and served them and ignored me.
Another guy came and looked at me, ignored me and asked the same couple behind me who had already been asked if they had ordered.
He was going to walk away but I made a point of staring at him like wth? And he asked me if I had ordered and I told him I don't know what they have and he said if I knew he could look for it. I asked him where the toppings a particular pizza were and he started reeling of all these toppings, but what I want is options and to be able to see them with the price on a menu and he gave me a small two sided pamphlet with a phone code on it.
So basically I'm stood in the place and decided to buy something, but I have to stand inside the place and download an app and decide from my phone whilst I'm actually there.
So if you are in the area and just want to grab a pizza don't bother because it's more than 10 minutes of being ignored and 20 minutes to download an app and chose. Then they have to cook it.
Don't bother if you are elderly either and don't do apps or online
And don't bother if you have no app space or don't want to pay to download with your phone data
And don't bother anyway because the internet signal is rubbish
Don't bother if you have disabilities or mental health conditions preventing you from downloading
And don't bother if they ignored you before telling to download the app because you are invisible and it...
Read moreI've eaten with this Pizza Hut for about 2 years. Almost weekly. I've always taken advantage of their £5 pizzas for me and my other half, who is celiac, as we could very conveniently get a gluten-free base pizza on the same menu. We were always pleased with the quality of the food, speed of service and overall experience.
Until a few months ago.
In the latter half of this ear, the service and quality of this hut has drastically gone downhill. I've had several orders turn up either wrong or with pizzas completely destroyed (not exaggerating), the customer service is appalling - the staff are so blazè and uninterested in their customers and something that is quite irritating for me is that they haven't had gluten-free base pizzas on ANY menu for months, which would be fine if I wasn't told regularly and every time I phone - "due to covid there's a delay but they'll be back soon."
With a Domino's and Papa John's now open down the road in Park Gate. It's a genuine shame to have to say I doubt I'll be ordering from here again in...
