Umami Street Food Fareham — Restaurant in Fareham

Food was good once we got it. Ordered at 9:10pm received at 10:33 after an about 10pm delivery time given via Just Eat. Order was accepted at 9:12pm but ticket said 10pm. I phoned at 10:10pm to make sure it was coming, was told it was with driver. Phoned 10:30pm was passed to another driver on phone. He was telling me all kinds of tales of why food hadn't turned up. Other driver couldn't find us, they didn't have my number to contact, that Just Eat system isn't working and order sent via a Scottish resturant at first. Driver turned up and found us without instruction while I was on the phone. Just tell your customers the truth. You were busy the order got lost for a bit. Just Eat system has not failed with other resturants. You have to physically accept the order from Just Eat and give them estimate time of delivery. You did not update Just Eat. Don't accept if you are too busy so that people have a choice to go somewhere else. 1hr23 for something 5 mins down the road. 40-50...

Ordered for the first time for delivery today, had an umami primal burger plus some sides to share with my partner, the delivery was very prompt and the delivery guy was incredibly polite and kept all social distancing ect (I'm shielding) now the negative.... burger was incredibly over cooked and bone dry, to be honest inedible, I rang umami to complain and was passed to a very unhelpful manager who told me to to order another more saucy burger in the future, I apologise but I have been a chef for many years and if meat is cooked correctly then it can be incredibly juicy and tasty without sauces... I have to say after this treatment I will never order from umami again and would in courage others to...

Over priced. Excessive waiting times and the old bloke on the phone hasn’t got a scooby doo. I ordered from here twice in 2 weeks and ordered the Pittsburger I stressed I wanted only bbq sauce and onion and cheese. It came with everything but sauce and onion. Ok 2 occasions ! Also I paid for extra cheese and surprise surprise no extra cheese. I ordered one burger , fries , extra hamloumi and it came to just one £20!!!!! For one person. Shocking. The guy on the phone is just a ok man that doesn’t actually seem to listen to your specific requests. Shame because the food is actually ok but after giving you 2 chances I would be a fool to give you...
