Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Folkestone and Hythe District

Really disappointed with a staff member’s attitude while visiting here. The food and drink was great and the male staff member who served us was great and deserves 5 stars alone for putting up with the blue haired colleague. If they(blue hair) are a senior they seriously need some training on staff management as they clearly could not be bothered to do the simplest task and barking orders for other colleagues to complete while they were clearly busy serving us. It made the whole café environment feel awkward to the point if I wasn’t with a group of others I would of left the establishment and not bought anything. I've been twice to this local Costa and been served by different people. On both occasions the cappuccino's were horrendous (the last one I threw it away). The milk was past boiling point and reheated over and over again. The coffee looked like dirty water within seconds after serving. You can tell the staff didn't care just by the way they were trying to make bubbles come out that milk. Without any doubt the worts coffee I ever had. I'd make a suggestion to the manager of this place to possibly put the staff on a training course on how to make a decent coffee, and if they have been then possibly check the quality of the product they dish out. For it's size, this coffee shop is one of the busiest (therefore popular) I've known. Staff are always friendly and polite in what is, evidently, a very testing setting. They can't be faulted. For it's traffic, I could imagine their turnover might comfortably cover an extra set of hands and perhaps a makeover/more customer centric layout.
