It's unfortunate that I need to edit my previous review but it's necessary, I ate outside with my dog on Friday evening, it was very lovely, I ordered seafood paella which is very tasty, it was piping hot, but when I got to the shell on tiger prawns they were cold, the rest of the shell on food was warm as expected, I opened the prawns and gave one bite to each, so I gave it a go, but I wasn't prepared to eat cold shellfish, this is all I said when the waiter asked "how was your food" previously to this, what I assume to be the manager came out to me like Bazil faulty, red faced and flapping his cheeks, grabbing the plate off of my dog off the floor and he was barking to me "it's not allowed"; further to this when I ordered I asked the waitress if I could order charizo for my pup, she put it on the floor for the dog on a plate. On reflection of myself notifying staff the prawns were cold, I was offered a free dessert, I don't eat dessert, my report of the prawns was just to let them know they were inedible, they seem to get ginormous bees in thier hair piece from any altercation; on presentation of my bill I was told the service charge was taken off, and to never come back because I complain too much. Draw what you will from that debacle.... I'd say rude. I would gladly never go back, you would prefer your customers shut up and eat rather than voice about what is...
Read moreApproaching the restaurant, we could hear the extremely loud music before my boyfriend opened the door, I did quickly ask “are you sure you booked? Sounds like a private venue” he assured me he did.
When entering, the music smacked us in the face, why on earth is the music so loud? Anywho, we bit our tongue and was showed to our seats, by a nice waiter. Who quite frankly, looked exhausted bless him.
Menus were placed on our table and he scurried along.
It was visible that there were a few work Christmas parties here and way into their food n drinks, but this still didn’t equate to the level the music was sitting at, it was soooooo difficult to hear my boyfriend over the table (please bare in mind that we’re a table of 2). Now please, I’m not expecting “a morgue atmosphere” and I’m certainly not deaf, but the music definitely doesn’t need to be that loud.
Orders placed after about 15/20 mins… I’m sure said waiter was lost in the back somewhere but it’s okay, we were bopping along to something or other.
Drinks and then shortly after, food arrived. It was OK. Nothing spectacular.
I just had to ask the waiter at this point “why on earth is the music so loud?! The fatigued waiter simply said “that’s how the bosses like it. We turn it down, they turn it back up”.
So… yeah? Sure? Fancy a rave whilst on date...
Read moreThis was our first visit and had a table booked for 5pm. Due to buses we was there early at about 16.40 and was quiet apart from some rowdy person. But that doesn't affect my review. We was greeted by a smartly dressed Waitress who saw me.on crutches and gave Me more time showing us too our table. Instantly felt comfortable in there and was handed the wine list and menu. Given time to look and make our mind up. Staff absolutely brilliant I cannot rate the. High enough. Now Down to the food. We both ordered the Seafood Paella which was absolutely Heavenly I kid you not. The waitress did tell us the Paella would take a while as was cooked fresh and the wait was not a problem. Then comes our deserts, I had the Apricot Compote served with figs Cream and Crumble it was sweet and just tasted Heavenly. My Wife had the Panna Cotta and looked devine as soon as I saw it I gave the plate a slight shake and it had the all important Wobble. Then when I asked for the bill I was expecting about £90-£100 for all we had plus we had a bottle of Pinot Grigio. Well the bill was £73 and I couldn't believe it when I saw it. If you love food, cocktails and a great atmosphere. Go too Rosemont. Overjoyed with our visit and we will...
