Wings 'n' Dat — Restaurant in Folkestone and Hythe District

Ordered a delivery at 19:30 pm - estimated delivery time 20:15 - 20:35. By 20:45 we requested an update and we were told it would be with us by 21:00 - one and a half hours after ordering.

During this time the restaurant was completely unreachable and eventually turned their phones off. Just before 22:00 (two and a half hours from ordering) we managed to get ahold of the restaurant.

No apology or explanation was given whatsoever - we just did not receive our food. We've been left disappointed and hungry.

Just Eat offer a percentage off your order if is over 30 minutes late as standard procedure. Your restaurant gave us an updated delivery time of 21:00 instead of cancelling our order.

When we finally got a hold of you after you had closed (at 21:40) you then agreed to cancel the order. The shop closed with our order pending on just eat making it impossible to receive a full refund on food we did not receive.

Was expecting good things however the items we ordered were not good. Firstly the mac n cheese was microwaved right in front of me after ordering, any establishment microwaving food does not deserve customers. You're one and only role is to supply great food to customers and you are using a microwave, come on?! Anyway the mac n cheese contained a hair embedded into the hard microwaved crust, happy to provide photos. The sides we ordered were the fried dumpling which was undercooked/slightly doughy in the middle and the lamb pattie was a dry pasty type side. I believe It's a new business so they may sort some issues out, and I've heard mixed reviews about the curries and chicken but I'm sure they are the main attraction. I am just warning that I wouldn't have high hopes, given the standard I received...

We ordered jerk chicken, goat curry and mac and cheese last night. I have to say unfortunately we were not impressed at all. The chicken was nice, the goat curry was dry and had tiny tiny 1mm fragments of bone though the whole dish so I could not give the kids any. We didn't eat it to be honest, too many tiny bones made it inedible. The mac and cheese was basically penne pasta with melted cheese on top. And we have woken up this morning with very bad tummies (not going into details) such a shame as we were looking forward to a good Caribbean takeaway around here, unfortunately doesn't seem like this...
