Angel Fish Bar — Restaurant in Gateshead

I have used this takeaway since it opened a little while ago it used to be the best in the low fell area , I always called up after my meal spoken to the owner and praised the staff it was excellent value for money good portion sizes and good quality of food. fast forward to present day this is the 4th time in a row I have had to complain and the prices have went up as much I ordered a house special kebab with large salad .large chilli sauce and portion of chips The salad was not as large as it used to be The chilli sauce was watered down no tast and I recived a small tub not large The chips were white with no colour and was told its the potatoes fault when i complained no its not Its the person frying them as i have been a professional chef for 34 yrs and know a thing or two about food and only 2 pieces of chicken and 2 chicken tikka the kebab was £11 I have complained in the past explaining items missing ect but have never asked for compensation or free items over the last 4 orders Instead I just asked to make sure everything is as I order Tonight's food was edible but not good value for money I was shocked when the person on the phone shouted at me saying he knows who I am and i always complained well yes I would if I pay good money and recive poor portion sizes and have items missing from my order The staff were in total pandemonium tonight starting jobs and going on to something else and coming back to what they were doing in the first place no wonder items missing from orders they were shouting and i am guessing swearing at each other from across the kitchen It's a shame that this place has become a victim of its own success its always busy and you need more staff and for the staff to do one corner of the kitchen and communicate with each other He told me not to reorder again and put the phone down on me I will be taking this up with the owner when he returns from his holiday and I will never...

Food took two hours lied fobbed me iff saying fiod wasnt cooked and no driver, complained online refused refund saying food on way. Arrived after 2 hours completley freezing cold and the nan kebab had the outside layer of onion on which could be a choking hazard and ive took photos to prove this, it was dripping grease while also freezing! Straight in bin when could of just refunded me and both bottles pop wrong ordered coke and diet coke got pepsi which we dont like at all! Avoid at all costs! Shouldnt if took the order if they cant handle deliveries will never be back as seems every time we order its late should if learnt the last time but defo wont be wasting money again. Could of refunded and saved a bad review with cold bad food! But i stead chose to lie on phone and making the shop look bad. Quality and customer service has gone down hill which is a shame. Driver lovely man which isnt his fault the owner is one to blame for the poor food and no apology will make this right. £32 wasted as wouldnt give it to my dogs so in the bin it went so unhappy stop deleting my review off food hub also ill be putting this all over facebook and...

I live local which is the reason I keep revisiting this place, but I’ve had enough.

3rd time ordering from this “place” and it’s horrible. The chips are rock hard, like they’ve been frozen, the two pizzas I ordered were nasty- barely a margarita, and the donner was repulsive. Trying to charge me £1 for chill and garlic. I paid it and it’s smells like it’s been off for weeks. £1.20 for a can of pop when there’s a shop next door… have some customer service please…

Atleast if you were cheap you could get away with being that shady…
