Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Gateshead

Costa Coffee offers a bland corporate dining experience and the branch at Gateshead is no different. I think what distinguishes this particular branch is the survey staff. Not exactly rude just seem to have the impression that customers are a mild inconvenience that have the afront to disturb them from their relaxed day. One member of staff had to bring in some milk from the store room which they did but then through the package onto the floor as if it was a sack of potatoes. Bad day I thought to myself, it can happen. Then a few minutes later whilst we were relaxing enjoying our drinks another staff member decided to clear some of the empties. If your dishwasher broken ,you should tell your customer before they pay you.When you ordered sit in drink ,they charge sit in drink fees and give you paper cup ,and no sorry ,poker face, it seems you shouldn’t question why you got paper cup. When I check all the comments of the store , found the dishwasher broken long time ago. I guess they just want to save energy cost ,water fees and reduce staff member . Don’t come here ,if you want to paper cup coffee or tea , just go to next door Greggs ,it’s much cheaper and all staff are polite.If you want to proper service,just go to the opposite Tesco ,you will very happy experience...

On Wednesday visited this coffee location to find empty seating area tables full of used cups saucers and trays from earlier customers which hadnt been cleared..tables hadnt been cleaned either..inside not much better..place was totally a mess and only 2 staff visible..toilet was disgusting and obviously hadnt been checked for a long while..i called customer services who have logged my visit...we have visited other Costa locations in our area which have been excellent..this location today had no excuse to be in such a mess in a...
