Souvenirs upon Tyne — Attraction in Newcastle upon Tyne

Newcastle has lots going for it with great pubs, restaurants, must grab photo opportunities and one or two bridges ( :-) but it doesn’t have, or rather didn’t have, a souvenir shop… Until now!

Souvenirs upon Tyne has just popped up down Dean Street and it’s brilliant!

There’s all manner of Newcastle and North East themed stuff in there, some excellent pictures, keep sakes, presents and er, souvenirs, to be had.

I live here, see the sights everyday, but still found that I bought stuff as some of the offerings are unique, well priced and really good quality and the lads and lasses in there are really canny - nothing's a bother for them.

If you are planning to visit my home town, I would recommend getting down to the quay side as there are excellent views, the bridges, the Sage, fantastic pubs (you must try the Crown Posada) and restaurants (Unos Trattoria is really good), and on route, down Dean Street,...
