Greggs — Restaurant in Gateshead

Excellent Staff

So I am a regular visitor to this Greggs as I try to visit before college everyday. The Breakfast stuff is always decent, food in general is to a good standard and usually stays warmer. Coffee/Hot Drinks are just ok because of the occasional grainy tasting one you get. Serviettes need to be given outside of breakfast sarnie bags though as I cannit wipe my hands on anything afterward.

But it is the staff that make this place for me. Always smiling, greet you with politeness and are super friendly. Sometimes they don't hear my order correctly but that's fine because they just put a smile on my face...

Greggs at Trinity Square is really good, close to the bus terminal, really good for popping in at lunch time for good quality food. Generally it's not busy but not quiet either. Never have to wait more than a few minutes to get served. Easy access for disabled people and also have indoor seating if you want to sit inside however it is limited. There is a wide range of Greggs products and the staff are very friendly and professional and more than willing to help. Car parking is easy enough in Tesco car park which is free for 30 minutes or for longer with a Tesco receipt. The area is clean and...

Came to buy some sausage rolls,while in queue my friend &I liked the look of the adverts for the new menu, and decided to have fish finger wraps , with coffee instead of going to tesco shopping as a treat as we are both carers and it is very rare we can escape .But what a disappointment, the fish fingers were very thin and cold a very small amount of lettuce,and mayo and not very more definitely not to Greggs standard.The idea is great as you can just pop in and grab but please could you do something about the contents .We will be back next time we can escape.
