Update 2019 - reduced scores. The have frequent equipment failures now, and that often means they cannot serve dishes. The latest issue today (11th August) is they have no drinks available at all - no soft drinks, no milkshakes. Offering the last of (tiny) water bottles even with large meals, saying they basically need to ration out the water for other customers. They should invest in maintenance or additional machines for redundancy, or at least have some disaster recovery plan in place. Even closing down for a few hours would be a better idea than allowing orders to be taken for items they don't have.
Original review: A good McDonalds store that has recently been refurbished. It now has self order terminals, which is great for ordering food it you pay by card. Food is almost always correct and the place is only slightly a mess at times- unlike most McDonalds stores, especially that get as busy as this one. Read moreI asked for a plain cheeseburger ( for the kids as they don’t like onions and pickles etc..) along with my order yesterday got my food and went to the car checked the burger and it was a normal cheeseburger with everything in, so I went back and told the staff with the returning burger . They kindly apologised and gave me a plain one and I left .. but when I went back to the car I checked and all they did was swipe the onions and pickles off the one I returned because I can still see the sauces left on it . Read moreOh Dear! Not a great experience. The automated system for customers to order food went down so all the customers had to go to the human on the counter. The ONE human. Although it was only a few shorts years since McDonalds dumped the personal face to face method of doing business, the staff behind the counter seems to not know how to actually deal with customers face to face. There is more than one counter terminal they could work at but no one came to the logical conclusion of opening more than one till to clear the backlog. I went in for a coffee and it took about 30 mins to receive my order. McDonalds, at this branch were so bad I was expecting them to be wearing Clown Shoes.
