First of all: this is a 'premium' store so be prepared to pay a little more than you might pay at one of the Starbucks inside of the Metrocentre.
Staff are always friendly if a bit inattentive sometimes, not really a bother though as it's easy to see they have a lot on their plate, as described below:
Ordering in can be slow through no fault of their own as the drive through is often busy and the drive through & front of house do not use separate machines and the like. Bit of patience is required when ordering front of house, I imagine this is worse during kids' holidays, rush hour, and lunch time.
Plenty of seating and the recent refurbishment means the till is better situated in relation to sitting in, though the placement of the front counter is a little awkward when trying to socially distance/not walk in front of people when finding a seat. Read moreOn my way back from Metrocentre, stopped by to grab a Cookies and Cream Frappuccino from this place. But what an absolute disappointment, we hit the road and got stuck in the never ending road work traffic on the A1M, started sipping on the drink, and from what I can tell it was about 80 percent ice, 19% milk and 1% Cookie and Cream, so basically gave me iced milk with a sprinkle of cookie, plus they added no coffee and I don’t know why... Then to top it off, the ice wasn’t even crushed/blended properly, as half the cup was half crushed ice. The cherry on top was the paper straw which obliterated half way through. Absolute disaster cost £5.40, hopefully people see this and think twice about getting their coffee...
