Why only 4*? Well it's more like 4.8.
The place is great, amazing staff and lovely food, however the toilets are a bit run down, the gents was off limits I assume as a mop was placed across the door so had to use the ladies, I use tissue to flush as I don't want to touch the handles but there was no paper. Also it is quite expensive. Kids prices up to the age of 10 and older than this fall under adult pricing I think that's a little young and should be 14 or so.
Now onto the good stuff. About 6 parking spaces on site, and on road parking. On entry we were well greeted and a nice table, decor is OK but could do with a tidy up. Air con so was nice and cool to sit in. Staff are great, always there when you need them and really attentive.
Forget how this place looks from the outside, the food is really good, everything was so tasty, and being able to order small or larger dishes and keep ordering was great.
Again the staff are lovely, you feel well looked after and nothing is too much trouble.
Shame we live over 200 miles away, visited whilst away for the weekend but would definitely come back when in the area.
Get the toilets in order and that gives the extra star.

Read moreAbout a year ago me and a friend worked there for an evening to earn a bit of extra cash. We were appalled by the hygiene in the kitchen and respect from the staff. When we arrived our phones were taken until we finished, we worked 6-11 with no break and then they proceeded to ask us to stay till 12, this is quite concerning considering our ages at the time and we still had to find our way home. We started off by washing dishes and they refused to let us refill the sink when it got cold and dirty, there was no soap. My friend was then made to clean the toilets. We both watched them prepare the food with there bare hands whilst putting noodles into pots, they also moulded the food on the plates with their hands. I didn’t once see them wash their hands and they weren’t wearing gloves and didn’t appear to use any safety precaution. Let’s just say they offered us a meal after and we...
Read moreMy wife and I moved to Gosport seven years ago. We both enjoy Chinese food and while there is a good choice of take away establishments the eat in Chinese restaurant choices are limited. We soon discovered T & Js but the restaurant didn't look particularly inviting and so the years went by without a visit. However they do offer a good lunch time deal and after discovering they enjoyed good reviews we decided to bite the bullet and give them a try. What a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and obliging and the food was delicious. The £10 lunch option offered a starter, main and soft drink or tea or coffee. We have been back since and shall now continue to frequent the restaurant. We would have visited the establishment far earlier than we did had it had kerb appeal and others will probably perceive the place in a...
