Brilliant cafe. An amazing find. We couldnât believe the fabulous restaurant-quality food at cafe prices. Really affordable. Great location. Great atmosphere. Such a unique cafe in a working boat yard. We had the Mango-Chilli Chicken and Rice. Just the sort of meal youâd expect to be served in a posh restaurant, not a cafe in a boatyard in Gosport. Such a lovely surprise. The Sticky Toffee Pudding for afters was delicious. Love the coffee and yummy cakes too. Weâve been several times now and Lorraine is always so welcoming. The cafe is spotlessly clean and the food is consistently top notch. Canât believe our luck discovering a local cafe run by a top chef. Weâve lived in Gosport for more than 20 years and know all the great places. Lorraine has set a new standard. She even had free treats for the dog. T By The Sea is our new favourite breakfast and lunch cafe. Weâll definitely keep going back. Highly...
Read moreThis is a little gem which is well worth seeking out The home made cakes and baked goods are truly scrumptious and everything on the menu is made by Lorraine who has made me feel so welcome since my first visit. The menu for mains is relatively small and everything is high quality. Meals, snacks and drinks are of a much higher standard than you might expect from this unpretentious business nestled in Victoria Quays. Park in the free car park and walk to the left to the boatyard. Reception staff will open the gate for you to walk down to the cafe on your right . The long old building on your left in the boatyard is the listed former Royal Navy Rum Store which is presently undergoing extensive renovation as part of the Levelling Up...
Read moreThis great café is located in the historic Royal Clarence Yard right by the harbourside. In addition to indoor seating in the café, there's an outside area with tables and benches overlooking the marina which will be wonderful once winter has passed. Lorraine's menu choices should satisfy everyone whether they're looking for a light lunch, a full breakfast or my personal favourite - a bap overflowing with crispy bacon (and English mustard of course!). If you're a cake lover, then you'll be spoilt for choice with the selection of her home made cakes and sponges. In addition to all of this, the icing on the cake (sorry!) is the friendly, warm welcome everyone receives...
