Bombay Spice — Restaurant in Great Britain

Nice meal out on 1st Jan. We all really enjoyed our dishes. Lovely food well cooked. Good prices, dining in the restaurant was only about £1 per main more than takeout price list - but service charge was extra according to the bill (we added 10%). Main courses worked out under £12 per person . Restaurant had a number of customers but not over crowded, and service was fine. Portions were generous, nan bread huge, I had Tandoori mixed grill- which was great - lots of meat (could have done without the kebab personally) which came with sauce, salad and a huge (I mean huge) nan. Biryani was good an generous too. Only glitch -card machine broken so had to pop to cash machine. Good...

Food was excellent. Possibly the best Asian meal I've ever had. Staff were very welcoming, efficient & friendly. Couldn't fault it - didn't want to... We are 'tourists' from the West of Scotland walking the Speyside Way and this ranks as one of the highlights of our trip, so far. Chances of another meal being as tasty are slim but you...

Portion sizes for the curries were really good, and the curries themselves very tasty, with a good level of heat. Nan were a bit chewy, but that's most likely because of the bag-time of the takeaway, fault on our side. All in all: really tasty, fair priced (2 veg curries, 2 rice + 2 nan for 27 total)....
