Been a regular at this bar for a few years now as with any bar it has its busy days and quiet days.I was in the bar yesterday had a great pint of John Smiths best ever taste tasted like the beautiful beer belhaven black well poured by Martha pleasant company feel good happy but quiet afternoon.The bar is always busy at weekends with a quiz and karaoke always a good night the bar has done so well over the years and like other popular bars survived the pandemic and still going strong to this day I always enjoy my visits and always will and will continue to be a regular my very best to Ashley and...

The over all experience I had here was not great. The place felt as if it was falling apart, the wallpaper was peeling and the floor was all scraped. The drink was resonably priced but the glass was a lot smaller than anticipated. The people behind the bar were very nice and polite when serving and made an effort to say hello and goodbye when entering, however they were shouting at a dog, presumibly theirs, this was very off putting when you are having a drink. Chilled feeling to it. Has good music from heavy rock to chart pop music, so a decent array of music. They also too karaoke and they have a small stage for the karaoke, live bands of all genres and space for a live DJ and his equipment. Decent choice of drinks at good prices, they also do Cocktails, they sell tasty peanuts and I'm sure they do pretty good food too.
