Words cannot describe how disappointed and upset I am with Dog & Co. Probably the best thing I can do is let you read the email I sent them complaining...
Dear Dog and Co
Im writing to say that I am really unhappy with the way my dogs look after further inspection getting home from our appointment 3rd October 2017. I very clearly said to Jo and the lady with the short hair that I did not want my dogs ears cutting. My request was ignored. Charlieās ears are now uneven and that to me is quite upsetting. Louis has had a chunk taken out the back of one too, and the side of the other one which again is upsetting to me. I feel you ignored my request and broke my trust. You should have left them and then when I collected them point out they were potentailly matted, as an excuse, or phone me to ask my permission to cut that part to make sure it was ok after I very clearly stated I did not want them cut. I have attached images to show you what I mean.
On a further note, Louis front legs are different lengths, and Charlieās front legs look like they havenāt been cut at all. My husband and family agree that this is their worst cut yet. It looks very rushed. Charlieās tail looks like it hasnāt been touched either.
I have been gradually feeling more and more disappointed over the last few appointments as I feel the high standard you once had has slipped. It looks like now that you have joined the two shops you have less time to take the care you once used to. I often find myself trimming bits that are uneven when they get home, but let this slide as I appreciate it is nearly impossible to achieve perfection for the price I pay and the time that is taken on each dog.. but after my instructions have been ignored I feel now that I have to say something.
Im really sad to say that after being a loyal client for a few years now I feel really let down. After my clear instructions were ignored I worry that you were either too busy and forgot my request, or Charlie was unhappy and moved which resulted in lopsided ears. I would have actually preferred that excuse because a mistake made that was his fault could be forgiven.. but an intentional cut with the excuse of āhe was mattedā is not really good enough after I said leave the ears alone. He was not matted.
Iām not sure how the situation can be rectified. Iām going to have to try and even out Louis legs and trim down Charlieās front two and tail myself as they look ridiculous and I am embarrassed.
My response to this email was two weeks later and just a simple thumbs up emoji to my message sent via Facebook Messenger. I have since found a new groomer and their cut is leagues above what I've had before, and it's cheaper. So I will correct what I said in my email to them... you can achieve perfection and you can get it cheaper! So, thumbs up to you guys! 1 Star and you've lost your £500 a year I was spending with you, and have done for 3.5 years. Thank you for your bad customer service. I've told everyone I know.
Please think very carefully before considering this groomers! They don't care about you or your dog, they just...

Sadly we wouldnāt even give one star.
On our second visit to Dog and Co for our Miniature Poodles groom, we have been made very upset and disappointed.
Our poodle came out cut very short and uneven, and once we got home, we noticed blood and a cut to the inside of his ear. Not only this, but his front two paws are red raw, which is causing him to lick these wounds profusely.
Obviously this isnāt something we expected from a āprofessional groomerā and particularly after spending nearly 4 hours with my poor dog.
As we were only round the corner from the shop, we took our dog back to show her the issue and ask what happened. Unfortunately the members of staff denied the fact that there was even a cut in the ear (when we had already wiped blood away at home) and were very rude, taking our dog out of eyesight to ācheck the earā so we couldnāt see what went on. They didnāt offer so much as an apology, or anything that felt anything close to care.
We understand mistakes do happen, however we should have been told of any injury before we collected our dog and paid. It was horrible as a dog owner to feel so deceived and lied to about something so precious to us.
Sad that local businesses can be so disinterested and careless to returning local customers. Safe to say our dog will never be returning here.
We hope our dog...

He has very short front legs and paws and they haven't even touched his back legs.. he has major patches and random long bits that have been left. Not only that but we were told a pick up time and when we arrived they said they needed another hour. Fair enough but on my second journey to pick him up I get a call from them which I obviously missed but I was already on my way so didn't think too much of it. As we arrived they moaned about how they called 20 minutes ago as he was ready then.. Problem I have with that is I was already on my way so if I had waited for the call I would have been even longer how do they expect me to be outside when they call when they can't even give me a proper time for pick up!! They also asked for 8 pound more than the original price I was given...
