Small, comfortable, with amazing food, and a menu made up of locally-sourced fish, meat, and ice cream, amongst other lovely options. Even their coffee is (although originating in Honduras) roasted locally in Llandudno, and is quite divine. I love coming here, and I come here often — and usually for the Belgian Waffles, even more than their lovely food! As I wheelchair user, I find it slightly awkward to manage in here, but I'm a fairly strong and capable active wheeler, so I manage ok. It is (technically) wheelchair accessible, *but* it's difficult to get yourself in and find a suitable section to place yourself within its tight confines. There also is *No* Accessible Toilet. I recommend it for anyone looking for fantastic fish & chips, seafood, or even your basic Sausages, Mash & Gravy, or Chicken, Chips & Gravy. It's locally sourced and quite filling and comforting... And if you also like some wonderful deserts, you won't do better than this place, they're just amazing!

They don’t want minorities in their restaurant. We asked for a table of 8, 6 adults and 2 kids, they said they don’t do tables that large. This is understandable but there was a table of eight already dining. We asked if we could wait for them to complete but we were told no as we’d be waiting over an hour (they finished and left before we got our takeaway). We then ordered from their takeaway. As we waited for our food (20 minute wait) we asked to use the toilet, again they just didn’t want us inside but they reluctantly let us in. At the back there was a huge table, totally empty that could easily fit us. Pictured. I asked why we couldn’t use that table and apparently it was for 6 max. Once they over heard that we’d be leaving a review, suddenly the table could be used for 8. Rhiannon, if you don’t want minorities inside, just put up a “no non-whites” sign.

What a wonderful fish and chip shop in Llandudno Junction. I took my friend for lunch. She particularly likes plaice in batter which is not always easy to find, as it’s often only offered pre-prepared in breadcrumbs. I checked with Enoch’s the previous evening and they promised to keep a piece of plaice for her to be prepared as she likes it - they obviously use fresh fish and prepare it to order. My friend was delighted - as you can see the portion was massive, the batter light and crispy, and the chips well cooked, firm on the outside, fluffy inside - perfect! Being greedy I asked for a second “bucket of chips” and that came free of charge as promised on the menu. The serving staff were absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. All in all a great experience for both of us. Thank you.

VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

Firstly, it is not cheap, so you expect higher standards.

We were the only people there (as well as one other woman) and had to wait about 20+ minutes, which is disgraceful and could have had quicker/ superior service at a restaurant! I felt so sorry for the other woman there who waited the same amount of time for some chips. Ridiculous!

This is the 3rd time I have had to wait this long when practically nobody is there, so it is not a coincidence. I previously gave you the benefit of the doubt, but not now (hence the review). I even witnessed you tell a customer that you had ran out of fish. 🥴

Secondly, considering the high cost, it is a joke to have to pay around £1 for the stingiest amount of ketchup in existence, what an absolute scam! You’d have to pay nearly £5 to adequately cover your meal in a sauce…get a grip!

Lastly, what a rubbish selection of vegetarian/ vegan options…who wants a battered burger or spicy mushrooms when going to a fish and chip shop?? It’s not rocket science, keep some halloumi in the fridge, or if you really wanted to live up to your high prices, why not try banana blossom and make it known to the world thet you properly cater for all dietary requirements!!!

You also do not fry your chips separately from the fish (but were good enough to state that). However, these are becoming basic standards these days, where there are so many more impressive places to visit around North Wales!

Big shame, as I want it to do well, but in its current state there is absolutely no way I will be visiting ever again and will be encouraging others to save their money and to go elsewhere...

Enochs has had a great reputation for providing freshly cooked fish and chips for more years than I can remember. Indeed, before the A55 was built, all journeys along the coast went right past the door and that was my first encounter with this fabulous 'chippy". It was over 30 years ago, a coach trip from Nefyn on the Lleyn to Chester for the day and a planned 'supper stop' at Enochs to pick up fish and chips on the way back. Deliciously tasty! Over the years, I have been in many times...the food is always of the same high standard and deliciously tasty! The cafe/restaurant is a great complement to Enochs reputation - the staff are lovely, service is great and food well presented with a welcoming pot of tea. All is good...except for the bread served with the meal ! I cant even describe it other than probably the cheapest sliced bread from the supermarket...yuk! Nothing tasty about it at all and totally let's Enochs fish supper down...especially when compared for value with other places that serve a fabulous fish supper with lovely good quality bread, several £s less than Enochs. Real shame and the reason why only 4 and...

Being new to the area we have been on the hunt for a good chippy. We visited Enoch’s with high expectations given the great reviews. Unfortunately this was not the case for our visit. We entered the take away side, stood behind another customer who was waiting to be served. We were stood around, many staff members walking around and past the counter and not one acknowledged either us or the other customer. We soon realised all the staff that were around were prioritising the restaurant side orders as opposed to take away. Feeling disappointed that after a long time waiting we still hadn’t been acknowledged we were about to walk out as a member of staff then encouraged someone to take our order. The customer in front said they had a long wait and it was no different for us. We took our order home to find the chips were near enough cold. Unfortunately we won’t be returning. If you aren’t able to provided an equal level of service to those dining in and taking away please do...
