I ordered via Uber Eats from a local F Pizza restaurant in Milngavie on the evening (08/08/20 at 20:47) with a total cost of £19.55. The order was only travelling a few miles/less than 10 minute car journey and stated it would be delivered by around 9:30pm then adjusted to around 9:40pm (which is fine), it stated the order was being delivered by Omiron who should have been on a bicycle. At around 9:45pm a dark Vauxhall Zafira parked opposite the house and kept driving back and forwards along the opposite pavement, and having identified the house (from the house number) the driver of the car came towards the house. I saw this from the window and although it was a car, I could see it was probably going to be my order, as he approached the house, the driver having presumably identified the house, shouted at the top of his voice my first name. As I noticed this I went to the door and rather than walking to the house to deliver the order the driver had disappeared. I kept an eye out and couldn’t see the driver but just the car parked up, then I saw the same delivery driver get back in the car and drive away. I had a call on my mobile from the driver and reiterated to him where the house was, at the point the tracking of the driver on the Uber Eats application stopped working, as if the driver had turned the tracking system off. It appeared shortly later and I noticed the car showed on the tracking software as parked in a nearby side street , the driver called and said he wanted me to stand in the street outside my house to get the order, so having went out to the street, the car and driver were nowhere to be seen. I returned to my house checked the software, and the car was parked in a different side street. I then phoned the driver and said I would meet him at his current location, when I went to meet him the car was no longer there.
I could hear (on this second occasion of me having to wonder about the streets to find the driver) a voice in the distance of someone talking to people who sounded like his friends in a nearby quiet side street, but couldn’t see this, but did hear the squeaking engine of a car (which later seemed to have been the delivery driver). When I went back to my house again, the Uber software showed the delivery driver’s car appeared to be the one mentioned above, so perhaps he was chatting to friends rather than wanting to deliver the order. Later when I went out for a third time I saw the same car driving from around the block of houses (meaning it was the driver mentioned perhaps talking to friends). As the car approached me the driver slowed down (the driver didn’t have any face mask on with Covid-19, but I adjusted my distance accordingly), the driver said was I wanting my order to which I said to him yes, and the driver having admitted he knew it was the correct house tried to give me just the chips from an order with two pizzas and chips, eventually after much discussion I got the two pizzas and chips from him. I did ask why he didn’t deliver to the house (deliberately it would appear) and why it was a Zafira and not a bicycle to which the driver just laughed. It was well after 10pm when I got my order, the Uber Eats system shows 22:18 but I think it may have been slightly after this the time the that the driver physically handed me the order (and I walked to my house) which I had to get from him by standing in the middle of a busy side street on the road.
When I got the order (it was totally cold and not able to be eaten), having contacted the restaurant they had stated to contact Uber Eats about this.
Terrible experience called the shop the manager wasn't interested, he was shouting at someone in the background to get off the bar. He said I should contact Uber Eats, which I did.
I would NEVER order from F Pizza ever again or...
Read moreA Stellar Experience at Fullbacks – Thanks to Christopher Johnson
From the moment I stepped into Fullbacks, I was prepared for a satisfying slice of pizza. What I wasn’t prepared for, however, was to be utterly blown away by the world-class service delivered by none other than Christopher Johnson. In a word: exceptional.
Christopher possesses the rare ability to make every guest feel like the most important person in the room. His approach is a masterclass in hospitality—effortlessly blending professionalism with genuine warmth. Within seconds of being greeted, I could sense that this wasn’t just a job for Christopher; it’s a passion.
He anticipated needs before they were even spoken, offering insightful menu suggestions with the confidence of someone who knows and loves what he’s serving. His recommendations were spot-on, but it was the way he described them—with enthusiasm, flair, and mouth-watering detail—that elevated the entire dining experience.
Christopher moved through the space like a maestro conducting a symphony—attentive yet unobtrusive, personable without being overbearing. Every interaction was polished, sincere, and tailored. He struck that perfect balance between efficiency and warmth, and in doing so, transformed a casual pizza night into something truly memorable.
It’s not every day that someone in hospitality makes such a lasting impression, but Christopher did exactly that. His dedication, charisma, and intuitive service reflect the highest standards in customer care. He doesn’t just represent Fullbacks—he defines it.
If you ever find yourself at Fullbacks (and you absolutely should), do yourself a favour: ask for Christopher Johnson. You’ll be treated not just to phenomenal food, but to an experience that rivals even the most upscale establishments.
A standing ovation for Christopher. Fullbacks is lucky to have him,...
Read moreHi in reponse to fullbacks manager account of the events in my previous review to which this reply appears to have been blocked, I was never threatening and we could prove we won the quiz through corroberation with witnesses who drink regularly in the pub and to state that i was aggressive is not correct and borders on slander. I was asked if by Aidy if i was threatening him for stating i would post a review which is a right of reply when treated with distain in your venue as Aidy was not prepaired to discuss anything. No person or staff member was abused or a young staff member taken advantage of and when approached by Aidy (and i think it may be you who wrote the reply but am unsure as it was written anonymously) was threatened to leave the pub or else, to which I replied for what winning the quiz to which he said i was barred. As stated in the anonymous review reply posted I was wrongly barred previously for an incident where a previous quiz person verbally abused me and billy later apologised to me for this incident and i was re admitted. Also the statement that you reviewed cctv can be used to look back at the date two weeks before then to counter the part that said we took advantage of staff and you did not know who won the quiz this will prove that we did. Also if you review this you will see i sat calmiy at the bar while Aidy stood over me and shouteded. My reaction was to laugh and ask him to say please to which he did and i left. To be honest i voluntarily wont be back in the pub but would like a face to face meeting with billy to discuss how we were treated and how the quiz rules changed without explanation. Further to the claim we took advantage of staff this is not the case. We tip the staff and have good relationships with staff and regulars in the pub contrary to your...
