It's a post. I'm not sure how you're meant to review a wee obelisk but hey ho. There's a water refill station right beside it with plenty of benches so you can pack and repack your bag easily. There's a Spar which will help with last minute supplies (and sells the 'passport' too). There's a Greggs and a Costa and a Subway right beside it too for a quick bite before heading off. There's a whisky shop round the corner to grab a bottle for your walk (if you're setting off after 10am that is), three pharmacies to grab necessities from also. Read moreThe West Highland Way was a stunning long-distance hiking trail that spans across the Scottish Highlands, offering breathtaking views of the rugged landscape and picturesque villages. I recently completed the trail, starting from Milngavie and ending in Fort William, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. Overall, I would highly recommend the West Highland Way to anyone looking for a challenging but rewarding hiking adventure in the Scottish Highlands. It was truly an unforgettable experience that I will cherish for...

No real amenities until the first town of Drymen. We took our own luggage which I would say is only for the diehards it slowed us down and took us double the time to reach anywhere. Next time I'm going to try the luggage transfer which we saw a lot of. If you're simply looking for a wild camping experience, skip the national park and...
