Just ate out meal for 2 from the classic india in Milngavie. In general the food was very flavoursome and tasted good. It was hot and promptly delivered by a smiling driver. Im just offering a little constructive criticism as I'm in the food industry and have worked with Indian chefs for several years. The sauces tasted great but were a little watery. The chicken was not pan fried, it had been pre cooked and diced and re heated in the sauce. Thats a little dissapointing as it says all the chicken dishes are like that. Its misleading. The nan bread was slightly undercooked The poppadoms were soft/not fresh. It was a bit of a shame because your sauces(korma amd South Indian garlic and chilli were very tasty, and the total including delivery was nearly £30. For £30 im expecting something withought faults. Today i wanted some food to eat on the way home, i got the chicken Jalandhri to take away
I requested extra chillies, and they were quite accomodating. I also requested a bit more salt on my food, as i have a medical need for it, and so they obliged
By filling an entire dip tub with salt and including it in my bag! They took no chances with dissatisfaction I could not have asked for more, and i ended up devouring the entire thing on the way home, it was lovely, rich, and full of coriander, my favourite herb!
Service was surprisingly quick, i did wait inside the restaurant while it was being prepared, it seemed a very cosy and intimate place, quiet and comfy, dark and moody lighting, it felt quite romantic

Sad to say but it was one of the worst curry dishes i have had. Ordered the south indian (chicken) garlic chilli, as this was recommended as one of their hot dishes. I ask if i could have it extra hot, which they said was no problem. The aroma coming from the bag once i left the premises, was amazing, but when i took the lid off the chicken carton, i was greeted by a dish that could only be described as Coloured water. It was that watery, i could not pour it onto my plate, so had to eat it from the carton. It was NOT hot, and as for making it extra hot for me, well all i got, was ONE chilli pepper!!
