Greggs — Restaurant in Great Britain

So as many are on hard times there was loads of left over food cause they are shutting so asked if I could have something as they are throwing it away and they told me no and right infront of me they threw it in the bin and just was laughing with other staff members this is completely unacceptable and bang out of order I really hope they don't ever fall on hard times and I'd they do I hope no one ever helps them and they can see what it is like...

I've never been to a Greggs before and thought I would try this branch for one of their much publicised vegan sausage rolls. Sadly they had none available and said it would be a 15 minute wait. They offered me a vegan steak bake instead. This would probably have been quite nice if it had been hot but it was barely lukewarm. Cool would be more accurate. This is a quick on the go kind of place. Coffee is good & they have primarily doughnuts. There are sandwiches as well & bottled drinks for a quick meal. Seating is clean & plenty. The staff was nice. My only complaint is the lack of healthy options & if you are a vegetarian, it can be tough to find something for you to enjoy. Overall, recommended for a quick bite on the go & a hot drink...
