Absolutely phenomenal experience every single time at Istanbul Restaurant in Blackburn – our favourite go-to spot for authentic, mouthwatering Turkish cuisine!

From the moment you walk in, the customer service is nothing short of superb. Every member of staff goes out of their way to ensure you’re comfortable and looked after – warm smiles, prompt service, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home.

Now let’s talk about the food – absolutely delicious! The donner is packed with flavour, tender and perfectly seasoned. The chicken shish is juicy, chargrilled to perfection, and melts in your mouth, while the lamb beyti is a true showstopper – rich, spiced beautifully, and bursting with authentic Turkish taste. Each dish is served fresh, with generous portions and impeccable presentation.

What really made our visit extra special was how accommodating the staff were. My son couldn’t get enough of the cucumbers, and they happily brought out more for him – no fuss, just kindness and attentiveness that truly goes above and beyond.

And to top it all off? A lovely, refreshing mint tea served on the house – the perfect way to end an incredible meal.

From the first step at the door until you finish you will be completely satisfy. Friendly staff will provide to you de great service, then the atmosphere, ambient is helping you to enjoy the time spent there. If you like a traditional Turkish coffee you will have a great experience. The test of the coffee will teleport you directly in the EAST :) .. the the food - Mediterranean flavours are sooo yummy. Prepare your self for a verry big and tasty portions ;) be careful what you order if you don't have experience before you my end up with a full table of food and not able to finish it all :)). There will be a large space... you can enjoy the time with family friends or alone. To mention another positive aspect is the fact that the car parc is verry close immediate vicinity. First time dining at this Istanbul Restaurant, dining with my husband and daughter, first impression walking into the reception area was lovely greeted by staff and guided to our table. had help with the menu as we were indecisive. but happy with our choice of meals, Service with a smile the young lady staff we were assigned to. We had mix salad and bread along with humous and olives, sauces as complimentary in the beginning. then came along our meals which we were very impressed. couldn’t finish off the food as had the left overs boxed to go. we also had the kanefe with ice cream and to end with Turkish tea was also on the house as many teas you like. Really enjoyed our time and meal and loved the service. i would definitely recommend to dine at Istanbul Restaurant. was so happy really enjoyed the experience.
