Unbelievably good thai food! SO FLIPPING DELICIOUS!!! I absolutely love it and will travel to York just for this! There are LOADS of choices in their menu, we chose pad thai, chilli fried rice, southern fried chicken, soft shell crab, grilled pork shoulder, sirloin salad, tom yum soup, and ofcoz with Chang beer! Perfectly seasoned, with well cooked ingredients, smaller portions makes it easier to share, so you can try more dishes! Three dishes for one person should be good enough, but we were so hungry we had to order one more! Pad thai is on the sweet side, love it! Fried rice is kinda spicy, but very flavourful! The prawns are huge! Fried chicken is well marinated, it is juicy! Soft shell crab is so good, mvp of the night! The curry sauce matches well with it! Pork shoulder comes with this amazing sauce, a lil bit sour and fresh! Sirloin salad is fresh and spicy, tender meat and crunchy vegs! You have to try their tom yum too, you can taste the seafood in the soup, very huge fresh king prawn! Tho a little pricey, but it is very much worth it, i will recommend all my friend to try this restaurant when they travel to York!!

Brilliant food, attentive service, 5 stars. My partner and I visited Khaosan Road Thai Tapas to celebrate our 2 year anniversary this Wednesday — and we were thankful we did! As the menu recommends ordering 3 dishes per person (given they are small tapas dishes), we ordered 3 dishes each. We shared most of the dishes, as there were plenty to suit both of our tastes (myself a pescetarian, and my partner a meat eater). Everything was delicious, but I particularly recommend the regular Pad Thai (pictured in the bottom right of my photo). Though the food is a bit pricey for us to manage regularly, it's definitely worth it if you have some spare income for dining out! The waitress (I believe her name was Angie), was really quick and attentive, refilling our water glasses several times without us even needing to ask. The atmosphere and aesthetic of the place was really nice for a date night too. Overall, it's safe to say we'll be back soon!

So this is a bit controversial but I’m only giving this place two stars. Dined here yesterday for lunch. The restaurant recommends 3 dishes per person which as you can see from the photos aren’t massive and the prices certainly aren’t cheap What I found is the meats here are very fatty, but not to the point where it’s super tasty. It was just mostly fat (beside the chicken). This spoiled 2/3 dishes for me. The kuay dish on the receipt there was 5/5 and superb. The venue itself is lovely although a bit dark and the seats aren’t overly comfortable. Service was fine but nothing special. I really strongly dislike when an optional tip is included on the bill. Ok but wouldn’t be returning with so many other establishments nearby, especially for the price.

Was really looking forward to this meal , not cheap so a real treat. The tables had been freshly polished and unfortunately had not hardened so every thing stuck to them which was a bit worried but it's something they couldn't have any control over so I can't really criticise. The food was all delicious. Savory sweet hot spicy. There's so much choice it's really mind blowing. Service is very fast. It took us longer to decide on 6 dishes than it did them to cook and bring it to table. Our table was squished in a corner under a box on the wall so it felt quite tight. We had booked so I can't see why we were given what to me was the worst table in the restaurant. The guests eating on the next table ordered quickly. But was slow to tuck in. It tuned out they had got the orders mixed up. So 4 dishes went back to the kitchen and immediately returned to the next table. I'm being over critical but then it happened again! Having enjoyed our food and expecting it to be expensive we thought a coffee would be good to finish off, but the coffee machine was broken. Oh well quick trip to the loop and then off but the loo door was locked. With hardly anyone in the restraint thought That was a bit strange should have mentioned it but paid the bill and left. Only to get to the pub to realise we had been overcharged by 2 dishes. Not sure what was going on that night. Returned to the restaurant and got the bill sorted no questions asked just refunded the money. Overall I think this was a one off bad night, or I hope so. The food was fast, good and...

We felt very welcome from the minute we stepped inside and asked if my allergies and vegan dietary restrictions could be catered for. The restaurant felt inviting and our table was cosy near the window perfect for our date night.

My partner and I both selected 3 dishes and shared sticky rice and vermicelli noodles. As I am allergic to nuts, sesame, coconut and poppy seeds I was offered an up to date allergen menu checker which helped me to make safe choices. I was impressed that even the wine list was clearly labelled with vegan wines. I always trust a restaurant when I see this attention to detail. So often I have to ask and staff can often be uninformed about vegan wines.

The food was amazing! I savoured every dish and couldn't pick favourite. I chose the Makua Pad Prik (fried aubergine with sweet chilli to dip), Tod Mun Kow Pode (sweetcorn fritters) and Laab Tao Hoo (crispy tofu with thai herbs and lime). We ordered more wine and beers as we thoroughly enjoyed those too!

Staff were attentative, friendly and approachable and our evening was lovely. The decor was pretty, menu's and plates were too.

We will definitely recommend and would like to return again with friends and family or another date night! We saw plenty of families, work parties and couples. It is very popular but e didn't feel rushed or forgotten about.

My partner chose ribs, beef floss and prawn with glass...

Not child friendly, too busy, expensive, but worst of all they told us the ice cream wasn’t gluten free to get us of the restaurant quickly; although when I checked the allergy menu, it stated it was gluten free, my little boy was devastated. First time eating there and will be our last. Very busy (fully appreciate) it was a Saturday evening although table was booked for 5pm with deposit paid. Food was average, not worth the price. No high chairs available, how is this even possible in 2022. When it came to 6.40pm we were approached to say we needed to vacate by 7pm (fair enough), my little one wanted ice-cream for dessert. However when I asked whether the ice cream was gluten-free, the waitress went to check with the manager. She returned to say the ice cream wasn’t. What she didn’t realise was that I had stood behind her when she checked with her manager as I needed to clarify we only needed a child’s portion; they looked at their watches and clearly they just wanted us out of there. Also when I returned to the table we still had the allergy menu which said the ice cream was gluten free. I did speak to the manager at the end who just looked uncomfortable. My son was devastated. Finally we requested the bill they did not take off the initial deposit until we highlighted it. Needless to say whether it was or wasn’t gluten free it was not a pleasant experience and will not...
