The headstone is in a well kept small cemetery ; it’s really the only visible grave as it has a small but prominent headstone whereas the other headstones are all flat in the ground. When I visited there was a very new footpath around the plot with the grave at the head. There is an information board at the entrance with a little background information, however speaking to a local this is “allegedly “ the burial place of Dick Turpin -a good tourist focus. The grave is not far from one of the City Walls but you’ll need a little help from Google...

The grave has a prominent headstone, but the grave itself is a patch of bare earth (everywhere else in the graveyard is grassed). There is a small tableu providing some history and background of Richard Turpin. Not much else to see unless you want to get some rubbings from the other...
