King Spice — Restaurant in Great Britain

Came in here on a Monday night which was my first mistake but was in a complete daze because I'd just got off the 34 bus from the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital visiting my brother on life support who has no hope of recovery and took the notion to just get a takeaway to honour him as I didn't have the heart to cook anything. I ordered a large mixed pakora and was served a SMALL box half full of SALAD with five stale vegetable pakora and two dried up chicken pakora. There was not even any mushroom pakora to warrant it being sold as mixed pakora. Only when I went home did I realise that they had just given me remains yet had charged me the full price, rather than do the decent thing which would be to advise that there was nothing left of that nature and give me the option of asking for something else. I understand that they have no idea of my current family situation which couldn't be any more dire right now hence my custom on a Monday night but to be sold stale and dried up leftovers at full price on my first (and last) visit to The Godfather leaves me feeling treated with utter contempt by these despicable people and neither will I ever return nor will I recommend...

I've been in a good few times now and not a bad word can ever be said... The portion size, quality and care put into their meals and are so tasty!!

I spoke to the owner today and you can tell by his enthusiasm he will do well... his food is totally awesome.

It rivals the kingspark cafe and that says it all.. however each place has a unique taste... If you like KP caff and you're eyes are bigger than you're belly then you'll love this...
