We were a party of three, so two of us had your steak pie 🥧 and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The meat was very tender and tasted absolutely delicious and the pastry was perfect and tasted lovely too. The veg were cooked perfectly. One of us had mash and one of us had roast potatoes. The nicest and tastiest roast potatoes that l have had for ages. We will DEFINITELY come back again for the steak pie dinners. We also particularly liked the two for one offer, too. We would also like to try your fish and chips too, as we seen another customer having it brought to their table and it looked lovely. We would like to try other things from your menu. Our other party member had a club sandwich and chips and it looked a nice sized portion, as were our steak pie dinners. Our friend thoroughly enjoyed their lunch, too. Two people had coffees after their lunch, and both said that they tasted very nice, too. The restaurant looked nice and we liked the way that the staff did not seat parties too close to other parties that were already in OR came in after we did. The female waitress and the lady behind the bar were both nice and friendly. We all enjoyed your food, service, establishment and your prices were reasonable, for what we had. 🤗 Definitely 10/10 and five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Please continue to do everything that you do, and the way that you do it. Was taken out for an anniversary dinner here with friends on Saturday 11th June. On first impression the decor was very nice and it was very busy. I think that there was a party in the bar area judging from the noise from the DJ playing next door. It was a shame that once the kitchen is closed that the lounge emptied as I could have sat there for the rest of the evening. We were quickly shown to a table and the menus were already there. We were waiting for another couple but the drinks order was taken for ourselves. Have to say that the service was good and the food was lovely. We all had starters and mains and there was absolutely no room for dessert. Between us we had prawn cocktail, halloumi bites/jalapeño jam,soup, warm potato and black pudding salad. For mains we all had something different. There was beef/chicken stroganoff, chilli, chicken fajitas, mixed grill (which was not finished) which was all delicious. Been going to this place for years and would usually have recommended it, however, tonight was insanely disappointing!!

The staff were not attentive. The restaurant wasn't full but we were constantly having to ask for service. The food was cold and appeared as if it had been sitting for a while. The vegetables were also quite watery, which seeped into the rest of the meal.

We felt as a group quite uncomfortable having to ask for things often and felt like the staff were annoyed with us asking for basic things.
