Editing my review based on the response from owner
I stopped the conversation when you specifically mentioned that ' you are not here to convince me' . I was hoping that you are indeed there to explain and genuinely hear the concern that a customer has raised.
I noticed that the sabzi was taken away for a long time after i gave you feedback. it might have been changed, or taste adjusted by something or other because of that no other customers picked up the spoiled taste that we experienced. Its not only me who picked up that, there were 4 grown ups who told the same feedback. Anyways, I wish you the best in this customer facing business!
We went to Masala Mantra for the weekend breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, experience was disappointing and fell short of expectations.
The potato bhaji served was not fresh and had a noticeable stale smell, which everyone at our table picked up on. We encountered a similar issue with the potatoes stuffed in the masala dosa—they too seemed off and not fresh.
We did bring this to the attention of the owner during our visit, but unfortunately, our feedback was not received in a constructive or welcoming manner. That was quite disheartening, as we were hoping for a more receptive response.
We understand that occasional issues can happen, but how feedback is handled makes a big difference. We’re sharing this in the hope that the matter will be taken seriously to ensure a better experience for future guests.

Read moreWe recently had the pleasure of dining at masala mantra. It truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and impeccable service, which set the tone for a wonderful meal.
We started our gastronomic journey with the Paneer Butter Masala, a dish that was rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. The paneer was perfectly cooked, soaking up the delightful spices, making each bite a heavenly experience. Paired with the soft naan and roti. The naan was fluffy and just the right amount of charred, while the roti was light and perfectly cooked.
For our little one, we requested curd rice, and it was prepared with such care. It was heartwarming to see how accommodating the staff were with our special request.
The cherry on top of this delightful meal was the Gulab Jamun. Indulgently soft, perfectly soaked in syrup, and simply divine. It was the perfect end to a fantastic dining experience.
Overall, the service was nothing short of perfect. The warmth and hospitality of the staff made us feel like we were dining with family. If you’re looking for a restaurant that offers delicious food, a cosy atmosphere, and exceptional service, we cannot recommend this place enough. We can’t wait to return for another unforgettable...

I went to Bournemouth Beach today with my friends, and while looking for a place to have Indian food, we came across Masala Mantra. The place looked inviting, so we decided to give it a try and we're so glad we did. The ambiance was good and welcoming, and the food was absolutely amazing. We started with Chilli Paneer and Rayalaseema Kodi Vepudu both were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. For the mains, we tried Chettinad Chicken and Gunturu Chicken with Butter Naans, and they were just too good. We also had Chicken Biryani and Raju Gari Kodi Pulao, which were full of authentic flavors and reminded us of home. A big shoutout to the Masala Mantra team, you guys really made our evening special. It's not easy to find such great Indian food away from home, but you nailed it. If you're ever in Bournemouth and craving some proper Indian food, definitely check out Masala Mantra. You won't be...
