Ate there yesterday for lunch. A veritable hidden gem inside what looks like a temporary building. Warm friendly atmosphere with staff being exceptionally welcoming. Great choice of wines at non exorbitant prices. 3 courses served by our attentive waiter. All seasonal ingredients, catch of the explained. We thoroughly enjoyed the exquisite Nordic menu at The Escoffier. The quality of the ingredients, choice of courses and presentation were superb. The food was first class. The fish, venison, duck and accompaniments were prepared to perfection and the taste was beautiful. We loved the smoked curds. The sorbet, assiette of desserts and the petit fours were luxuriant. Certainly, a wide range of pleasant tastes and tantalising flavours, multiple dishes served up in an exemplary way and most enjoyable in terms of the wide spectrum of culinary delights provided.
