McDonald's — Restaurant in Great Britain

Really disappointed with this McDonald’s and will actively avoid and use school road McDonald’s in future as they have much better food and customer service. This McDonald’s often has horrific queues and wait times with questionable food and flat fizzy drinks. This time I ordered a large meal with a large fizzy drink and after waiting for 15 minutes in the click and serve bay (too long for ‘fast food’ with little queues) I was brought over the food and a can of Coke?! I asked why this was and yet again the fizzy drink machine is broken - a common theme at this McDonald’s and a problem that takes months to fix for some reason?!?! When I questioned why I had paid for a large fizzy drink and had been given less, I was told they would speak to manager. When the server returned he said there was nothing he could do and told me to ring the store. I did this on my return to home to find a manager called Lauren state that ‘everything is subject to availability’ - I corrected her and stated that the McDonald’s had falsely advertised a larger amount and given me less: this is a violation of the trade descriptions act. She couldn’t care less and gave me McDonald’s head office number. Head office immediately apologised and said they had no idea why this McDonald’s would argue over a large fizzy drink?!? She could have simply said next time you come you can have one or substituted the amount we were missing for something else. Voucher was sent to cover the costs and a lesson for me to avoid this McDonald’s...

arrived at 9 35 last night and ordered for table service. The table we sat at was directly opposite the kitchen and we couldn’t help but notice the racket coming from that direction. There must of been around 20 employees stood around chatting doing nothing and then proceeding to strut dance moves around the kitchen to the amusement of other employees, each taking it in turns to have a go. I suppose all that was missing was club music, a crystal ball and some alcohol. Our food was sat on the counter for a good 10 mins open to all the elements including employees standing over it and Uber drivers also hovering over it collecting meals. Our food was eventually brought over after 10 minutes to which we politely refused and asked for fresh meals to be made. Ben the employee was apologetic and took it upon himself to sort personally sort amongst the chaos. He also agreed the meals shouldn’t had been left lying around. We received fresh meals less than 5 minutes later which was great until we witnessed an employee wiping his nose on his McDonald’s uniform and another colleague opening a burger box lifting top of burger with her hands and placing back in box. No hygiene standards there! There were other hygiene issues witnessed however this review is long enough. Safe to say our food went in the bin and we left on empty stomachs and £20 short. I would give a 0 however I don’t have this option and Ben deserves recognition for being the only one actually...

Over the past year, the Drive Thru service at this restaurant has become terrible. Lack of parking when busy, people parking all over the place, staff telling people to park around the corner when you know full well you would never get your food if you parked around the corner because the people handing the food out don't even check there.

I ordered food at the Drive Thru, parked my car in a waiting bay and watched as the guy came out 5+ times handing out food to cars, including to cars that had parked 10 minutes after me. 30 minutes later my order had still not arrived. The guy handing out the food had looked at my registration multiple times and walked away.

Anyway, I finally got tired of waiting, got out of my car to head in and ask about my order and saw the guy still had a bag of food on the tray. He had looked directly at my registration and walked off with my food...?

My order was not big either; Big Mac Meal, 9 Chicken Nuggets, Mozzarella Dippers.

Got my food home, my Fries were so cold I had to microwave them. My BigMac was stone cold and I'm not exaggerating... The burger was as cold as the lettuce and sauce on it.

This is not the first time I've experienced the same issue at this restaurant. Their system for handing out food is utterly broken. Instead of handing out in order of the time of order, they seem to hand it out randomly, even when your order is...
