McDonald's — Restaurant in Great Britain

Update 4 years on - had to make a visit at a push and this place is still absolutely shocking. Literally just sat in the drive through for 20 minutes before even being served. Intercom service was quick but then still another 5 minutes to pay... 5 more minutes for the next window to tell us to park up 🤦🏻‍♀️ Then another 20 minutes sat waiting for our food to be brought out cold... WTAF? If I could give 0 stars I would - and won't be going again! They are too busy serving all the delivery companies who fill up the tiny carpark- would have been quicker to order it through one of them and we might have gotten it warm within 10 minutes 🤬 We really don't understand how this place is still running.

Food is average but the service here is always soo slowwwww... Our last We had a lovely cheery gent who eventually answered the first intercom, paid fine but then the next woman told us to wait in the car park for it to come out... No drive through spaces available so had to drive around and wait on the road where someone nearly drove into us because their car park is so small. Finally got a space and our food (chicken salad and cheese burger) still not out so we pulled into a space round in the car park after driving round again. Parked up and waited 10 minutes before my husband had to go in. Food was sat ready but staff didn't want to bring it out to the car because of some people who where outside the shop. Whilst driving through Hull I decided to grab my lunch and order from the self ordering machine I paid for my lunch consisting of Big Mac meal large large Diet Coke and large cappuccino.

The receipt did not print and the machine went blank without giving me an order number . I asked for assistance 4 times the restaurant was very busy with the Macdonalds staff shouting and running everywhere and not being very nice to customers including the couriers .

To be honest it was worst then a football match and resembled a riot .

I asked a lady to help me once again she wrote my order down as the receipt role was stuck . I attempted another 4 times to get the girls on the front til to help me she was very unhelpful and shouted at me he hasn’t paid he hasn’t paid !! This was hostile behaviour and not customer focused the girls demeanour was mirrored by most of the staff. I had to leave as I was held in the restaurant for over 35 minutes . I informed a lady who had assisted me over the till receipt that i had to leave as I was significantly late for work . From my car phone I spoke to a male manager and complained again he was unhelpful and told me to provide a bank statement and come back tomorrow- I told him I don’t live locally and can’t so he replied to email him ! Cottingham Road Friday 25 approx 9.40pm Asked for 9 nuggets and was repeatedly told they no longer serve 9 nuggets, despite it being available on their justeat/delivery and on their menu. Asked for sweet and sour sauce and the rude lady at the payment window laughed at me and rolled her eyes told me it's not her job it's the next person's, the next person said that the rude lady had put ketchup. They had also given my order to the person in front of me. My half full chips were cold so I asked if I could have some hot/fresh chips and watched as she took my cold ones, put them back on the heater for the next person and then put another cold pack that had been sat out in my bag. At that point u gave up. 5 minutes after receiving my order my chips were 39 degrees so quite clearly had been in the heater inside it's packaging for way too long, unless they want to suggest they were cooked hot at 168 degrees and less than 10 mins later were under 40? Or even that they had sat in the uhc for the maximum time (under 10 minutes) and in that time dropped 100+ degrees? Just really rude and food wasn't safe or edible so just went in bin. Surprised that people arent getting ill. Sure the guy in front who only ordered a milkshake enjoyed the extra food he got though. Had a nice takeaway...
