Picture House — Restaurant in Great Britain

We have been there yesterday for our daughter 16th Birthday. The entire 6 of us were welcomed to the place and staff was very nice and polite. However, the food we ordered was disappointing.

1. Extra burger from the chicken burger was missing, instead we were given a chicken burger with extra slice of cheese.
2. The lasagne was missing chips that we ordered extra on the app. Not to mention it was swimming in oil.
3. Chicken Hunter was hard like a rock and the entire sauce was burned.
4. My stake that I have ordered "very well done" was still full of blood.

That's 4 out of 6 dishes done bad. The staff removed chicken hunter from the bill as we didn't want it back and fixed the rest of the orders, but even then the quality of food was far from ideal.

Later that day, I felt ill from the food that was served. It's a shame as we paid well over £100 with food and drinks.

I feel sorry for the staff member that had to listen to our complaints and take the food back and forward to...

Went to the picture house for a Christmas night out .What an absolute disaster waited over 45 minutes for the startes to come out one at a time ! Half of the orders were wrong !!! By the time the last of the starters were out others had long finished . We then waited nearly an hour for the main course, again one at a time and again half of the orders were wrong ! Some of the food was cold or burnt !! Then we get to desert there was 22 of us about 12 got what they had asked for ...i never got anything the girl serving insisted that it wasn't an option... until she went for the per order menu then realised she was wrong... her answer (well we dont have it !) The food was of very poor quality and look like it had been thrown at the plate ! ....i have posted in the past rating the picture house highly! All i can say things have gone down hill very badly......my advice stay away ....unless your an under aged drinker as many out there...

I went as a group of 25 for an afternoon birthday meal. There was a reduced menu, which they did not have when we booked. There was not a great choice, so I didn't order any food. No one came near the table for any orders, we all had to order separately at the bar. Which was very busy. Everyone that did order was not happy with the quality. A few of the guests said the lager tasted off. There was no staff and there was one gentleman running ragged for the whole pub and there was only 2 staff members behind the bar. Staff were over heard saying they were not happy that we turned up as they wanted to close the kitchen. I did not feel comfortable or welcomed. I only gave 1 star and that is for the poor staff run ragged, otherwise I wouldn't have given one. This is not somewhere I would recommend, it has Unfortunately gone downhill. I hope it's just the after math of covid and they can get it...
