Ryan's Bar — Restaurant in Great Britain

The so-called ‘makeovers’ of many pubs in the area have sucked the life out of traditional working-class boozers, where people used to come for a pint, a chat and a game of pool — the pool table has been removed to make way for more seating. Neeson’s, now called Ryan’s Bar, is no exception: it’s now unjustifiably expensive for the location, served in a pretentious beer jug instead of a normal pint glass, and has been taken over by a new clientele of hipsters, complete with the ever-present DJs playing vinyl. Many of the traditional punters will no doubt be priced out of the place and understandably will be upset about the direction it’s taken. Did any of them ask for this? Absolute real shame what you have done..taken the tvs so no football taken the juke box taken the snooker table...decent price beer...the comfort of everything that people really liked about the place..I know how many customers you have lost trying to turn this place into a cocktail bar in Govan Hill

City centre is a place for a cocktail bar not Govan Hill should have kept it the way it was because no way is this place gunna make profit...

The guys seem to have got the formula right.

Crammed at the weekends .….great atmosphere and some tasty tunes so go early if you want a seat.
