Sal's Famous — Restaurant in Great Britain

I had no idea this place existed, was out for a walk and realised I was starving.

Coming up the hill I saw a sign that said “Pizza Slices” and I immediately knew I was gonna have to try one, then I walked in the door and BAM oh my god. The pizza looked amazing, the prices are reasonable and the whole style of the place is great.

One of the best pizza slices I’ve ever had. They're not even New York slices they’re proper Pizza al taglio so they’re square almost focaccia style bases.

The only complaint; every slice looked so good and I physically could not eat more than 1 so I guess I’ll have to come back and...

Totally disappointed with the pizza.

I'm a pizza lover and love a bit of char but this was taking it too far. It was charred black outside and inside the dough.

Came in today with my young son as he asked for pizza. Unfortunately I had to return my sons as it was inedible for him and I tryed to continue on with mine. In the end I picked the soft bits off the top. I didn't want to make a fuss about my one so I did my best to eat it.

The staff were friendly and nice and didn't charge me for my son's.

I popped in here as I read the good reviews and they did not lie! Food is outstanding! I shared one of the spicy chicken subs with my husband and it was absolutely delicious! We also shared a cookie royale and it was incredible! Both were headed up, sandwich had gooey melted cheese and the cookie was all soft in the middle! The girl that served us was friendly and polite, and the cafe is very pleasant to sit in and people watch through the window! Will definitely be back - an...
