Called in at 11am having walked there and not eaten breakfast. So glad we were hungry. Fabulous big breakfast, couldn't fault it and decaf americano was excellent. Such a friendly cafe. Know from past experience that the scones are superb. Haing just arrived in Flamborough we walked here for coffee however, my husband became ill and I can't thank the ladies enough for all their help. They were so very kind, ringing the ambulance, running for a defibrillator and bringing the chemist from a few doors away and looking after me. My husband aged 80 was laid on the floor and all the furniture moved. They really went above and beyond. Keith was diagnosed with dehydration and has fully recovered. ordered two oat vanilla lattes but unfortunately they have a limited amount of alternative milk so one of us had to have almond (no soy) but still paid full price, they gave us sugar free syrup without telling us. if i’d have known i would’ve just had sugar instead as sweeteners give me migraines. the coffee itself tasted ok, but milk was steamed too hot and tasted burnt. particularly the almond milk was extremely hot - too hot to even carry back to the car (no sleeve). i recommend they use thermometers in future and let customers know if they only have sugar free syrup. Outstanding little cafe in the heart of Flamborough. The menu was full of tasty treats like sandwiches, all day breakfasts and homemade cakes! We found ourselves at a bit of a loose end one lunchtime so we popped in. I was immediately temped by the bacon sandwich and my wife went for the ham salad sandwich. Everything is made fresh from local produce. The staff were cheery and friendly. We took a couple of delicious cakes home, it would have been rude not to! There are only 3 tables, so it's a little bit tight for space. Disabled access is something you'd have to check. They do a takeaway box for the beach with a selection of savouries and sweets.
