Absolutely fantastic experience at Shaan Bangladeshi Cuisine!

My friends and I recently visited Shaan on Kettering Road, Northampton, and it was truly a memorable dining experience. The service was top-notch, with Syed and Faz providing exceptional attentiveness and friendliness throughout our meal. Their warm and welcoming attitude made us feel right at home.

We started tonight with a delightful prawn puree infused with tamarind paste and fresh mint sauce—simply delicious. Ian ordered the Shaan 3 in 1 platter, which included Onion Bhaji, meat samosas, and sheek kebabs, and he rated it a perfect 10 out of 10! It was a great way to sample a variety of flavors.

For mains, we enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi, which was bursting with a rich blend of spices and flavors. Our Chicken Biryani and Chicken Tikka Bhuna were absolutely mouth-watering, each dish bursting with authentic taste. We also ordered chili rice, okra, mushroom bhaji, saag, and cheese naan, along with plain naans—there was so much food that we had to take some home!

The staff was incredibly friendly and informative, happy to recommend dishes and share their knowledge about the cuisine. The entire experience was delightful, and we left feeling satisfied and eager to return.

I had a wonderful time at Shaan restaurant and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves this type of cuisine. The atmosphere is lovely, the experience was fantastic, and the people there are incredibly friendly. You’re served high-quality food in a beautiful setting — both the location and the interior are very nice and welcoming.

The customer service is truly 100%, and I was served by Syed , who was absolutely amazing — his attention to detail and kindness really made the experience special. I will definitely be going back again — and not just once, but 10 times more!

Went here for dinner yesterday. The food was absolutely brilliant!! Staff were really helpful and made sure the level of spice was perfect and everything was really delicious. The waiting staff were very friendly and attentive and we look forward to going back soon. The food was very reasonably priced and taking our own alcohol meant the meal was incredibly good value! Note they do not sell/serve alcohol but happily provide bottle openers and store what you bring in the fridge until needed. We parked in the car park opposite the picturedrome, by the Race course, and it was a very short stroll so all in all a great meal...
