Siam Smile Asian Street food Cafe — Restaurant in Great Britain

i was just there half an hour before supposed closing time. they just locked up and asked what we wanted to buy, but seemed hesitant. why ask when you don’t want to do your job? i asked what time they close, they lied and said 4pm i said too bad. the drive of 40 min to was for nothing. they said sorry, the woman smiled brightly and they drove off. so i let them go, but upon looking at their door, it clearly states 5.30pm this is not how you treat customers!!! so rude and unprofessional. will definitely not return. thanks for wasting my time. i don’t appreciate being lied to.

had it only be closed, i’d be annoyed. but the fact that they saw paying customers and preferred to leave is what makes this unacceptable. clearly they are in no demand of earning money. on the bright side, there are online asian stores. i love to support local stores, it’s just...

Joy is a joy - she's the owner and a real sweetheart! We were visiting Amesbury for the weekend and found this place by accident and really glad we did. This sister shop to Siam Smile restaurant (also in Amesbury and which I totally recommend) serves up excellent Ramen noodles. Rich broth, full of flavour with crunchy beansprouts, noodle, herbs, succulent chicken and lovely pork and coriander dumplings. Loads of condiments available to personalise the dish to your liking. I had my first bubble tea and enjoyed the experience. Next day I went back and with Joy's help purchased several items to try and recreate the food at home. It's a great place on lots of levels....
