My local and the best little pub in Devizes! It puts on decent and free live music every weekend - and, during the week, they have a Jam night, Ukelele afternoon and an Arts afternoon. Thankfully, there's no huge telly screening sports!
It's a warm and friendly place with a lot of regulars and is a perfectly safe venue for single ladies to visit without being harassed.
The prices are extremely reasonable (the Weatherspoons being the only cheaper drinking establishment in Devizes) and there's a lovely big outdoor space to enjoy in the summer - or for smokers to have a cigarette whatever the weather, as there's a covered area too.
They often take the live music outside on the summer late afternoon Sunday sessions (5-7pm).
