I still absolutely love this place.....it always keep us coming back for more!!! It has done so well to keep it's cleanliness, standards and smiles shining throughout, I don't think there is a single time I've come to this establishment and had an issue....even down to wanting to add more lemonade in my gin, not a problem! 😍🍹🍸 Shaun and his team are true diamonds 💎 They always ensure we are happy and smiling with them, connecting with us like a pal ❤️ We have sat and watched Shaun and his staff and it's safe to say he has trained them impeccably and definitely leads by example....there isn't a single person I haven't seen Shaun or his team connect with and make their time at the Cranleigh, even more enjoyable!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
They usually update their specials menu each month but they are continuously looking for positive inputs or feedback...... I highly recommend the lasagne and salt and pepper chicken (comes with the most divine katsu sauce) props to the chef for that.... I demolished it!! 😋
There is always something happening at this venue, wether it be down to fizz Fridays, bottomless brunch, new meals or cocktails or the sports...and I mean ALL sports!
They cater to everyone, truly. Families, groups of friends, couples, sports fanatics....everyone! 🥰
Sports screens throughout, along with a dart board and a more than spacious beer garden and seating area. 🎯🏡🍺🍻 The garden is even closed off for those with children or fur babies 👧🏼🐾🐾🐾
You simply can't go wrong!! Thanks again for great food, fun and...
Read moreWe booked a table here for the first time for a family meal for my daughter's 10th birthday around 3pm on Sunday 7th October
There was live entertainment in the dining area and it was soooo loud we had to shout to each other to speak and even then we struggled to hear each other.
My daughter started crying and holding her ears because it was too loud, so we walked out and went elsewhere.
They should have had the entertainment in the evening, and in the main bar, not in the middle of the day and in the dining area.
HOWEVER
I have given them 5 stars because we went back for my birthday a few weeks later - to give them another chance.
There was no loud live entertainment which was lovely.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was cooked very well.
We always eat out in various parts of the country as we like to travel, and we have eaten in many different chains, and many Hungry Horses.
Credit where it's due, the food in The Cranleigh was amongst the best we've ever tasted!
They did get a couple of things wrong like the menu states 4 pieces of scampi with the steak, but my mum recieved just 3 pieces and they forgot her peppercorn sauce and she had nearly finished her steak before it finally arrived - but my mum is very fussy especially when it comes to meat, and she even said its the best she ever had! (Which is not something my mum says very often!)
We will definitely...

White bmw with a load of youngsters in it: After a heated altercation he squared up into my face and followed me down the road demanding to see the damage to my car. After a solid screaming match between the pair of us and me tryin to leave the premises with me asking him to leave me alone after known drug dealers in the pub come out and deal in the local side roads he then proceeded to waste Dorset ambulances time sending ambulance to my address over concerns for wellfare even though he had been squaring up to my face, telling me I was vile and I was the problem and etc that I had it coming and the rest of it. After reporting to him people are coming out off your premises to drug deal in the surrounding roads or heavily drink driving when leaving the cranleigh pub I was told it’s “it’s not my problem” which I replied. So if that drink driver kills and innocent family down the road and you as a pub knew someone got behind the wheel of a car on a drink and drug problem it’s not your responsibility to the point he then stated “I don’t care it’s not my problem” which I replied so you don’t care if a family gets killed and he laughed it off. This pub will...
