Pretty sure, this is the first micro pub in Colwyn Bay, and sets the standards for the rest to follow. Since opening, there have been different brews on, on a regular basis, occasionally they may have had repeat brews on. On one wall, is a map of the British isles, on which, is marked every brewing company, who's produce has been sold on the premises, plus the bar badges. Alcohol is sold on pump, in bottles, or cans, to drink in, or takeaway. If you like your ales, and ciders strong, they're available here. The ales available are pales, right through to the dark ales, in varying strengths and flavours. Owner knows every beer he sells, and provides good information on its taste. Won numerous awards from camra which are well deserved. The locals and other customers help make this place be as relaxing or as social as you want it to be, and brings a variety of people together. Dogs and children are welcome which is nice. You know exactly what you will get is knowledgeable staff , quality beer , and in most cases a lack of a TV which encourages conversation. Makes me think thought.
