Popped in for the first time the other week. I'd seen the place and was looking for an excuse to call in, so I did. The entrance is the full width of the frontage and the seating narrows towards the rear to accommodate toilets etc. Nice number of seats and a settee by the front. We were welcomed warmly and tried the bitter, prices and alcohol on a chalkboard by the bar. We had intended to move on but stayed for a couple more pints. I've only tried two of the lagers in there, one a Czech lager (Kosel) and the other a Japanese lager (Asahi), it was £3 70 a pint for the Czech lager and £3 90 a pint for the Japanese, of the two the Japanese one was smoother, better and stronger.
