The Easy Breeze — Restaurant in Great Britain

So we had a table booked for 6.30, on arrival we were shown to our table and told by the waiter that someone would be round to collect drinks order. We waited longer than necessary and as we were about to find someone, I noticed a leaflet in-between the menus stating you have to order drinks and food at the bar. My partner went to order and was stood while a member of staff spent considerable time opening a bottle of wine and not even an acknowledgement he was standing there waiting to be served, he was getting to the point of walking out when another member of staff appeared and served him, only to be told you have to pay for drinks there and then not put onto final bill. Not a great start but gotta say you pulled it back with a very good pint of Guinness and the food was incredible. The food came out in a timely manner, nice and hot and tasted amazing, best meal we had over the weekend. If we had been told on arrival that drinks and meals are purchased at the bar and at least given some acknowledgement at the bar it would've been 5 stars. We would come back again and would recommend as sometimes staff just have a bad night. The waiter who bought our food out was attentive and followed it up asking if our food was o.k plus saying goodbyes on leaving, he was professional and polite, unfortunately didn't...

Absolutely shocking customer service, we came in at 3 to be told by a waitress that service wouldnt be starting for another half an hour which we had no problem with as we could sit and wait with a drink. At half 3 we then asked if food would be starting and we were told no, not for another 15 minutes as they were still serving a party so no one else could order until the party had left (something about them ordering off the old menu?) So we then waited another half an hour as the waitress's were avoiding eye contact with everyone apart from this one table that they seemed to be so focused on. When i eventually got her attention we were then told food wouldnt be starting for another 10 minutes, the same lie we had been told numerous times before! When we said that we wouldn't be waiting as we couldn't waste any more of our day on the hope that they would start serving soon we were then charged full price for the drinks we had had in the restaurant based on the idea that we were going to eat there, the staff didn't really seem to care about anyone else in the restaurant apart from the one table party that...

Came in here yesterday to watch the football and at first everything was spot on, friendly staff great atmosphere no complaints at all. We ordered some food the salt and pepper chicken and it came with loads of mayo on it which was not mentioned on the menu and unfortunately I don't like mayo so asked for one without and got told by a young lad that we should have asked without mayo in the first place if we didn't want it and walked away. My friend was at the bar and he heard the staff calling me and complaining about me because of the mayo. He said to them there is no mention of mayo on the menu and that they shouldn't be saying things about me. It really upset me when my friend told me as before hand we were having a laugh with them. The young lad came over apologised and said he thought it mentions mayo on the menu so he got us another salt and pepper chicken without mayo. I would have recommended this place but not now, I'm really upset to know that the staff...
