This was my local shop in my childhood during the early 1980s. Many fond memories of taking my pocket money in and buying sweets. A common occurrence was bumping into Bonnie Tyler at the shop while she was grabbing a few items, as she lived just down the road at that time. Fantastic memories, and I'm so glad to see that this little local shop is still open. I've lived in Australia since 1988, so it's nostalgia...

The atmosphere is wonderful Staff are lovely The aesthetic is beautiful, we especially LOVE the Venetian plastered ceilings.

My husband and I are regulars now that Norton stores has changed hands. It's our go to place for a cup of coffee and a slice of cake (sometimes a breakfast or lunch) we play gammon and enjoy the friendly people.

It's a wonderful spot and shouldn't be missed. A true...

What an amazing find. Stumbled across this place by pure chance. Much more of a café than convenience store although it does sell a few essentials. Relaxed, friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere and a tasty cooked breakfast. Could sit in the window with the Sunday paper all day and never want to leave. Lovely outside courtyard space at...
