Gem of a restaurant in St. Andrews, our favourite place to eat when visiting this historic town. There are only 6 tables making it cosy but large enough as not to feel crowded when eating. We picked their meal deal today, 3 dishes for under £12, all the food which came to the table was excellent, couldn't fault any of it, clean plates all round. They have a full bar and serve soft drinks, teas and coffee. Prices are on par with other establishments in the area.They also have a take away area downstairs for food collection. The server today was polite, prompt and well presented. Toilets are available for customers. Unfortunately the dining area is up a set of stairs, the take away section is down a few stairs, the gents toilets are down a set of stairs to the rear of the dining area as well, so it will not suit...

I ordered the beef curry and, once getting it home, I discovered the thinnest slithers of beef imaginable. The curry sauce was also thin in nature and had a weird balance to it, one mouthful would be fine, the next would blow the roof of your mouth off.
