The Owl & Pussycat Pub — Restaurant in Great Britain

Recommend Owl and Pussycat for Indian pub food, food is great, cooked fast and fresh to order, lots of space to sit and eat. Really good selection of veg & non-veg food, we are vegetarian and there's more than enough choice and variety. All really tasty sure to find something for everyone! Our favourites are the crispy bhajiya, chilli chips, sweetcorn mushroom methi curry.

Downside: Decor is tired, but it's a big old busy pub and would probably take forever to redecorate. I'd recommend to the management to sort the toilets out as they really are knackered.

Live music - this is nice to have on Thursdays and Friday nights, and it's great that the music is loud and pumping, but more Bollywood classics to accompany your visit.

Overall, good place if you want a friendly pub vibe, good food, and aren't too fussed about fancy seating. Definitely casual and relaxed...

We recently hosted our parents’ surprise 50th wedding anniversary lunch at this wonderful restaurant, and it couldn’t have gone better.

From start to finish, the experience was seamless and truly memorable. The food was absolutely fantastic—every dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by all our guests. The service throughout the lunch was attentive, warm, and professional.

A special thanks goes to Simbu, who helped us to organise the event. He was incredibly helpful and responsive, both in the lead-up to the day and on the day itself. Nothing was too much trouble, and his helpful, friendly and kind approach helped to made the event truly memorable. I recently dined at an Indian restaurant and was blown away by the inviting atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I felt transported to another world. The use of warm colour, intricate decor, and soft lighting really set the tone for a great evening.

The restaurant had a family-friendly vibe, with plenty of seating options to accommodate large groups or families. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable.

As for the food, it was superb! Each dish was bursting with flavour, and the presentation was impeccable. I highly recommend trying the chicken tikka masala and mixed sizzler - both were outstanding.
