Upon revisiting this establishment, I found myself irresistibly drawn to its delectable ice cream, so much so that I indulged before even capturing a photograph. Despite my eagerness, the delay in accessing this platform compelled me to savor half of the dessert, leaving the remainder for your scrutiny, which I assure you, was utterly divine. Allow me to extol the virtues of their tea, an unparalleled elixir that stands as the epitome of tea-drinking experiences. Moreover, the restaurant's decor is a captivating homage to renowned landmarks of Iran, adding an enriching layer to the dining ambiance.
Yet, amidst my admiration, I cannot suppress my dismay at the sparse patronage this establishment receives. It is with a sense of duty that I bring attention to this hidden gem, hoping to attract more discerning palates to its doors. The infusion of Iranian music further enriches the dining experience, evoking a profound sense of cultural immersion reminiscent of ancient civilizations.
Returning to the subject of tea, as I compose this review, I am astonished to find a yellow crystal slowly dissolving within my cup, a testament to the artistry and attention to detail that pervades every aspect of this establishment. However, it must be noted that the temperature of the tea did not reach the scalding heights some may prefer, which may disappoint certain connoisseurs.
In summary, this establishment warrants greater recognition and patronage, notwithstanding a few areas for improvement. Specifically, the occasional intrusion of overly loud music detracts from the overall ambiance, while the addition of noon-e sangak to accompany their kebabs would elevate the dining experience to new heights. On a more positive note, their chili offerings strike the perfect balance between flavor and mildness, a testament to the culinary...

Read moreOn Sunday 13 October, Foad and his excellent team at Shiraz Persian Restaurant delivered personally by car, a fabulous Persian lunch for 50+ guests of all ages for my 70th birthday party. I had I had set him a challenging task: to create delicious dishes for vegans, vegetarians, gluten and dairy-free and garlic-free guests alongside meat-eating guests. He travelled over 40 miles to the Brixworth Cricket Club in Northamptonshire to deliver on time rice, koobideh kebab, boneless chicken kebab, vegetable kebab, aubergine gheyme, vegan aubergine gheyme, cooked vegetables and beautifully presented salads for our self-catered lunch. Additionally, he provided individually-sealed butter separately in order to fulfil his brief for vegans. The food arrived hot and remained heated throughout the afternoon, utilising 6 heated catering dishes complete with chafing fuel holders and lids. Everyone, including children absolutely loved the superb food! So much so in fact, that I didn't have time to remove the aluminium foil fully from the hot dishes! This is the first time I have used Shiraz Persian Restaurant’s services for an event and I shall definitely be using them again without hesitation; recommending them to everyone I know. If you are considering a meal for your event, Shiraz Persian Restaurant has proven to me, beyond doubt, that they would qualify admirably for weddings, on-site and off-site corporate events, alongside other special events as mine, irrespective of whether they are within Leicester city or further afield. A huge thank you to Foad and his...
