This restaurant is putting fake reviews and pictures on their goggle page, the 17£ price you are charging is an absolute rip off for a buffet of this level, first of all it was not a buffet these guys are serving dishes on the table and you can't pick and choose.
Yesterday I had a really bad experience at Waheed iftar buffet. My wife randomly selected this restaurant after reading some reviews on Google.
We live in Southport and like to go out for buffets in different cities. This time we selected Blackburn for iftar and it was a nightmare for us, we wasted 17£ each.
If anyone attended buffets in other cities like Preston, Raees or Manchester, Nayaab, I am sure we all know what a real buffet looks like.
First off we got diarrhea after eating at Waheed and they have a very small Ramadan menu and like I said you can't pick and choose like you do in other buffets since they serve everything on the table one by one.
Their starters were (Veg samosa, pakora, chicken tikka and kebab) which were stale, in the fruit platter they served malta and apple with peel on and two dates.
We only got two main curry dishes with two naan's and the sweet dish was suji ka halwa and Irn-Bru in a jug.
This is definitely not a 17£ menu and I mean honestly in Ramadan you can get a similar iftar in some well known mosque's for free.
I recommend the management to visit some other buffets to get the idea of how exactly the buffets are served and what other restaurants are offering for 17£.
All in all it was a bad experience, we will never visit this restaurant again and I will not recommend it to anyone and I hope someone would read this review before visiting them.
I am so pissed 😡 I absolutely despise restaurants who put fake pictures and reviews for promotion and think they can serve whatever to their customers and can get...

Salad was visibly stale with discoloration. Many dishes were empty. Naan bread was dry as rock. Chicken was cold. However a young lad went out of his way to serve us. He also provided us with fresh naan upon request.
Paya were uncooked, very very hard. Biryani rice has no meat in dish.
On desert bar chocolate cake was broken in pieces crumbled up in plate. Upon request the waiter got a fresh cake after waiting.
After finishing meal we went to pay they had a sign up saying "Cash only" Card machine not working. Luckily we had cash otherwise we would have gone elsewhere.
Floor was littered not that clean Finally, would i ever go back NEVER. Only reason we came here was that Shahi Qila was fully booked so we decided to come here.
I have rated our overall dining experience as poor which is due to our...
Read moreVery welcoming and accomodating staff and atmosphere. I came with my wife. They accomodated for my wifes hijab screen request and all food halal which is reassuring.
We ordered tawa for 2 people which is £30. Food was very nice, fresh and tasty; we loved the meal especially the meat curry. The sauces were spicy but loved the red sauce. Tandoori naan was nice and fresh. They also gave us brown rice with meat which was nice too. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of this since this was served at end of eating the tawa. Two things however which we think they can improve on: our meat in the lamb curry dish was undercooked and very chewy but when we alerted them they re-cooked for us and was fine after that. Please check meat when cooking curry based food. The fish pakora was quite oily. Maybe use an oil that makes it less oily.
Would definitely come again and...
