A short review as we only had breakfast here today and going to try a main meal sometime shortly.

I'm very critical when eating out especially breakfasts as so much can go wrong.

We had the full English breakfast and I was quite amazed by the value for money.

My wifes poached egg was perfect!!! My biggest bugbear is a hot breakfast and this was hot. A very good plus in my books.

I don't understand why we were the only ones in there. Perhaps Easter holiday?

I hope this review will at least make some people give it a go. It opens at 10am a little later than some but worth the wait

Now my score, I have very high standards. 4.6* out of 5* one of my highest.

How could it be better for breakfast? More customers, open earlier but things negate each other, longer hours without guarantee...

Had lunch with my mum today and we went for the 2 meals for £15 deal amazing value!

I had the fish finger sandwich, which was made with proper pieces of fish, served with unreal chips and the most delicious mushy peas. My mum chose the flan and said it was absolutely tasty, with the egg cooked to perfection and beautifully presented.

For dessert, we had the Biscoff cheesecake. Again, it was presented so well and tasted incredible.

Its also dog friendly and nice to sit overlooking the river in the sun.

The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the chef even came out to check everything was okay, which was a really nice touch. Honestly, this is top-tier food at such reasonable prices. We’ll definitely be recommending this place to everyone and can’t wait to come...

I can't recommend this place highly enough. We decided to visit here due to the good reviews but on arriving there was a step to go down and I was in an electric wheelchair. Kevin, the owner, came to my rescue. He fetched ramps, he held our 2 dogs while my partner helped me down the step. In the garden were tables and benches so Kevin fetched me a chair from inside to sit on. He fetched the dogs a bowl of water. Nothing was too much trouble and I do appreciate it. Then the lovely lady behind the bar came to take our order instead of us having to go to the bar to order. The food was really delicious. The locals were so helpful too offering to open doors or help me up and down steps. I have never been to such a helpful and friendly place ever. 🫶 A...
