Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Guildford

Went in Costa coffee in the friary yesterday with my grandma, son and partner for something to eat and drink.

The staff were not that nice and the girl that served us clearly wasn't bothered about the job or the fact that she has one, I asked her if I could put one of the ham and cheese toasties back, as my other half wanted something else, and she charged my grandma for 3 ham and cheese toasties and a cheese and tomato toastie as well, when we got the receipt, I noticed that she had charged us for all 4 toasties, when I asked the manager the same thing as I said to the other girl, about taking one of the cheese and ham toasties off, she said she had, I was like no she didn't and we have been charged for it, the manager said OK, she stopped the 3rd cheese and ham toastie from being opened and then refunded it.

Kelly is the nicest Costa staff my mother and I have met in the past four(ish) years. We normally go to a different Costa in Guildford next to the Furniture Village, but constantly have negative experience with the staff there. They never make the drinks properly, the drinks do not taste good at all, and costumer service is awful. However here, the staff were nice, drinks were made properly (as described on menu), and Kelly was nice enough to offer vegan cream alternative (this has never been offered before in the other Costa cafe even though my mother always asks for a dairy free base). This Costa just recently renovated and re-opened again! It looks great and eyes catching. Their services are very good and helpful. I like to see they are always smiling at the customers. It is really nice. And their coffee quality is amazing and really good. Acceptable price with a wonderful quality of coffee and service. Recommend.
