Cinnamon lounge — Restaurant in Harborough

Upon arrival we were taken to our table straight away. Before we sat down we were asked if we wanted a drink, my other half asked for a water and before I even had chance to order a drink the gentleman had ignored him and walked off. He Seated another table and took their drinks order. He then finally comes back to us and takes our drink order. I ordered a coke, they bring me a Diet Coke which was as flat as anything. We order food and it doesn’t take too long to come out and it was really good! He interrupted our meal to ask if we were finished after I put my cutlery down for about 5 seconds. When we are done we ask for 2 containers to take the food home and he brings one and tries to combine all our food together . When collecting our plates he was very heavy handed and had the dirty cutlery very close to me. The whole experience wasn’t very good. We felt very rushed and we didn’t feel welcome from the start. I can't comment on atmosphere as I've only ever done delivery/collection.

This was my go-to for curries in Harborough. However, the food hygiene rating has dropped to 3/5 which is worrying. I cannot find another place in Harborough with a hygiene rating this low. I've heard that it doesn't take a lot to get 5/5. So I've stopped ordering food here as a precaution.

I also noticed that the last few curries barely had any meat in it. They seem to have really cut back on their portions which were previously plentiful with meat.

The naan bread isn't good. It's tiny and thin, and doesn't taste high quality. It's some of the worst naan I've had. For the quality it's too expensive, and you're best off buying some from the supermarket.

Placed an order at 5.30pm for delivery at 7pm. Chased as still not received by 7.50pm and had a very rude man tell me 20 minutes before hanging up on me. I followed up at 8.10pm and again told its on its way and again they hung up the phone. Everytime I tried to ring again they put the phone down on me without answering. It took my husband to ring for them to tell him food was only just sent and then hung up on him. Food finally delivered at 8.30pm but cold.
