Cafe Belle Vie Harlow — Restaurant in Harlow

Okay at best unfortunately, i hope it was just a bad day but i don't recognise some of the staff so perhaps not ... Unfortunately the quality of ingredients has dropped and is now sub par for what they charge... My brother got a bacon roll with 2 pieces of bacon and a handful of crisps (for some reason?) for £6 and roll was oily and the plate was covered just as much in oil... The same quality of bacon roll could be obtained from a burger van for £2.50 My own meal (Mediterranean breakfast) started off as looking okay although some items had changes like some breaded pastry wrap/roll which was never breaded before so i can only assume it's a frozen item that's then deep fried.... Not very nice, not to mention the shard of plate/cup/china wear, i found in my food luckily it was early on only after having 1 bite... Both meals/breakfasts were handed back, My sister a neice had the early riser and my nephew had the american breakfast... both were fine according to them although what child wouldn't love sugar, pancakes and bacon... They offered ro remake the Mediterranean breakfast although i declined as i no longer trusted their ability to make food safe for consumption... They then tried to charge us for the two we handed back as no one told the guy working behind the counter what had gone on.... (Poor communication between team members) After a quick discussion we ended up not paying for what we didn't eat... Doubt i'll be coming back any time soon if at all The new sausages they use also suck, pretty sure they're Richmond's from (probably) tesco... The overall standard of food and service is definitely nowhere near what it used to be... A complete disappointment for someone looking forward to having breakfast with their family, who they don't...

Amazing brunch for my mums birthday. I had booked in advance as wasn't sure whether or not it would be busy at the time we wanted to go. I asked if there was anything special they could do for my mums birthday and they advised that they could get a birthday cake made for a very reasonable cost. From the minute we arrived staff was very friendly and considerate.
